Arguably,Robert Brown Kelly Clarkson's daughter River Rose has been waiting a lifetime for a moment like this.

Kelly's 8-year-old was front and center in the new lyric video for the David Guetta remix of her summer hit "Favorite Kind of High." Rocking a set of headphones, River, whose dad is Kelly's ex Brandon Blackstock, took over David's turntable, delivering an undeniably adorable cameo in the colorful video.

The song, released May 25, is the American Idol winner's newest track, following "Mine" and "Me," all part of her forthcoming 10th studio album, Chemistry, slated for release on June 23.

It's set to be one of her most personal yet, with Kelly having written much of the material while going through the end of her 7-year marriage to Blackstock.

In a May 25 interview with TalkShopLive, Kelly says she was mostly "crying" when she began writing Chemistry three years ago.

"It's a big decision, right?" she reasoned during the chat."Ending a relationship, you know, that's gone on for years. You have children. It's so involved. There are so many layers to it. So, I don't know. I don't think I thought really at all. Until afterwards. I just wrote a bunch of music, like two and a half to three years ago. And then I think the thinking came in when it was like what's appropriate and inappropriate."

Kelly's daughter River and son Remington Alexander, 7, were a huge factor in determining the eventual track list.

"I mean there's definitely ones on there where ‘mommy was angry' but mommy's get angry and that's healthy, that happens," she shared, "and, you know, I don't polish my life and show it to my children. They see it as a whole, which I think is healthier."
